Wrigley Field From The L is taken from the subway platform outside the stadium, which is shot from the same viewpoint as a vintage image I found from 1929, less of course the Model A automobiles. In researching the shoot I studied the history of some of the more unique features of the stadium. The meaning of the flags on the scoreboard and foul poles for example are historical features usually not though of or that well known," explains Mark. Previously a sports photographer for the Associated Press, David Bernacchi still shoots a wide variety of various athletic events on the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. County Stadium - A Retrospective, are black and white historical images of this legendary stadium, which was home to both the Milwaukee Braves and Milwaukee Brewers professional baseball teams. "I was fortunate enough to have access after the stadium was closed and just before it was demolished. "It was the end of a busy day shooting the sights of Fish Creek, WI, when I came across this classic wooden boat tethered to a pier. The shadow on the water almost seemed surreal since the sun was not overhead but setting to the west. This was the last shot of the day, the day was done.
